Henry W. S. Schroeder, M. D., Ph.D. is professor and chairman at the Department of Neurosurgery at the University Medicine in Greifswald, Germany.

He is a well-known internationally as a master surgeon, primarily in areas of neuro-endoscopy, including ventricular and skull base surgery.

He is the President of the International Federation of Neuroendoscopy and past Chairman of the Neuroendoscopy committee of the WFNS (2014 -2017). He is a member of the International Academy of Neurosurgical Anatomy (IANA) and the prestigious World Academy of Neurological Surgery (WANS).
